About S.E.E.D.S. UNT
Strategies for Ecological Education, Diversity, and Sustainability (or S.E.E.D.S.) is a chapter of the Ecological Society of America's undergraduate division. We will strive to take part in and promote sustainable activity and education on and around campus.
S.E.E.D.S. UNT is devoted to providing academic and professional development opportunities for undergraduate students and diversifying the field of ecology through: - local community outreach initiatives - interdisciplinary projects with philosophers, engineers, educators and artists. -conducting independent research projects -holding ecology, sustainability, and conservation related discussions and presentations to provide educational resources and professional networking opportunities for undergraduates in these fields |
Our Mission
-To bring a diverse group of students together from various academic and cultural backgrounds and encourage members to explore research opportunities relating to ecology
- To promote awareness of native North Texas habitats - To promote awareness of wildlife issues, restoration and conservation methods. Get Involved!
